Hope Floats

One day I went to the PO Box and got a letter from a little girl named Hope.  Unbeknowngst to her mom, she wrote us the sweetest demand letter to decorate her room in Shreveport Lousianna.  Well since we were located in Austin and this poor little girl seemed to have little means, I told Abby, well we have to atleast send her a pillow with her name on it as a surprise!  It was then when they received the pillow that her family found out about how percocious their little "hope" was.  And then shortly thereafter, they paid for us to travel to Louisana and  decorate all four of her girls' rooms.   It was a fantastic experience, and quite frankly a bigger job than we had ever done before.  I love that, b/c that day when I opened her letter I received so much faithful encouragement, but little did I know she was to be one of  our biggest jobs to date.   So sweet.  And if I could live in anyone of our clients rooms, it would definitely be Hope's.
Here is a shot of Hope's bed and her funky lime green lamp by Slip.
